#LAGOS HAS A SOUL. YES OHH

THE LAW SPEAKS
‘Lagos has a soul.’ Yes ohh
‪#‎Falana‬ has woken up after we gave him the alarm about the fascist abuse of power by‪#‎Fashola‬. Our learned gentleman #Falana. Speeches are not enough we need to take LASG to court and sue for 5 billion Naira. We will get fair hearing in the Supreme Court!
The Law wrote
Today, at the NBA Secretariat Ikeja Lagos, Femi Falana (SAN) and the entire membership of one of Africa’s largest local bar decried the continuing harassment of indigent and poor citizens by the LAGOS STATE government in various guises designed only to raise more money or to “save” money for the current wielders of political powers in the State.
Specifically, the State government was condemned for:
1. using the apparatus of its uniformed outfit – notably members of its Kick Against Indiscipline, KAI, squad – to take hostage poor Lagosians under the guise of enforcing so-called state “laws” against “street trading”, “highway crossing”, loitering, begging and playing football on deserted streets during the monthly “environmental sanitation exercise”: dubious so-called infractions against so-called laws which do not, according to Femi Falana, “belong in a civilised society”, not to talk about a constitutional democracy.
2. Incarcerating or illegal detention of citizens in illegal detention facilities and vehicles (black maria) established within Lagos State Secretariat;
3. Operating kangaroo tribunals sanctioned by the Chief Magistrate of Lagos State and manned by lawyers as “judges” and”prosecutors” who preside over proceedings which does not protect an “accused’s” basic constitutional right to fair hearing especially the right to representation by counsel or to take a “not guilty” plea. Tribunals that brazenly inform “accused” persons with very strategically placed banners that defence “lawyers” are not “necessary” for its proceedings. In those tribunals, appearance is a formal statement of guilt which in most cases covers several “criminal” counts each of which attracts financial penalties of N10,000 or more and imprisonment (at least, until payment).
4. For incarcerating hapless and indigent citizens of Nigeria in Kirikiri Maximum Prison and Badagri Prisons for pending to pay up their imposed fines.
NBA Lagos and its member resolved to set up a high powered committee to document specific instances of the abuses so as to know the best way to address what is clearly an unacceptable and disgracefully course of dealing by a court led by a Senior Avocate of Nigeria, Babatunde Fashola, SAN.
Law Nigeria hereby:
1. expresses its outrage at the scandalous past-time of mowing down defenceless citizens by Lagos State in the name of “security” “urban renewal” and “development”. It is unacceptable that “roundabouts”, grasses and ornamental flowers seem to receive better treatments in Lagos State than poor and indigent persons.
2. calls on Lagos State government to review the operations of its uniformed and other tax-payers funded operatives so as to bring their operations under the constitutional imperative of making the welfare and security of the People (instead of their brazen operation) the primary purpose of government. It could not and must not be the case that those outfits – majority of which were initially populated by fringe or indigent members of Lagos (especially the notorious agberos) – were strategic enlistment by the State governments of a tiny percentage of the poor to be used as tools to oppress the majority of their fellow poor. That is the kind of evil that destroys any place.
3. Calls on the Chief Magistrate of Lagos to disavow and dismantle the illegal tribunals and detention centers which are being maintained under the otherwise hallowed authority of the judicial authority which is supposed to be the bulwark of the very poor it is now being used to oppress. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH; and
4. calls on all the NBA Branches in Lagos State – Lagos, Ikeja, Ikorodu and Badagry – to rise up, condemn these evil practises going on Lagos State and take the active step of picketing all those so-called tribunals and detention centers. The Bar must also rise up and demand the release of poor Nigerians rotting away in maximum prisons – possibly for life – since they are unable to pay the fines imposed upon them by agents of Lagos State government.
5. calls on Lagosians to rise up and defend the poor and powerless among us from the tyranny of State machinery which derides the existence of the poor and the God who made them. This city has a soul – even if this government has lost its own. It is time to remind this government of that./Image

‘Fela believed that Jacqueline was the Egyptian Goddess Isis his eternal opponent as the Egyptian Sun God Ra. For the past 750 million years another Kalakuta lore. She has reincarnated and transformed many times that is why ‪#‎Fela‬ was surprised to find that she recognised him back in Glover Hall in the 60s. Fela said he reincarnated into this present life to regain his powers he lost 750 million years to Isis (Jacqueline). During seances with Jacqueline in his room. Fela discovered that to regain his powers he must discover his powers which were hidden in words like cathedRAl RAdio, cameRA, photogRAph, or in places IRAq IRAn or in names RAnsome, RAshid, RAji or KudiRAt’.

DISCLAIMER IRIKEFE JEFFREY EDUWA

#Non-appearance #Corruption #Forgery #WAEC #NECO #JeffEduwa

Still parading himself as staff of Tenderland College after his dismissal. This man used his position as the Mathematics and Physics tutor to collect $250 from prospective WAEC and NECO candidates so that the prospective exam candidates could 1. Hire a graduate to write their exams 2. Allow cheating in the exam hall in collusion with exam officials. He was fired in order to stop the spread of the cancer. He is using the ill-gotten bribes to finance his post graduate studies at the University of Lagos.

Lets hope IRIKEFE JEFFREY EDUWA does not use #corruption, #forgery and #exam malpractice to gain his MSc in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the University of Lagos.

FESTAC 77 THE CAUSE OF NIGERIAN WOES?

FESTAC 77 THE CAUSE OF NIGERIAN WOES?
A christian pastor Prophet Chris Okafor General Overseer of the Liberation City Ministry and  goes everywhere with Police escort has blamed Nigerian socio-economic and political woes on FESTAC 77.
Okafor said the nation’s problem could actually be traced to 1977 “when the then Head of State, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, invited people to bring their idols from different parts of the world to Nigeria in the name of celebrating FESTAC 77.
The idols represented different things. What Ogun, the Yoruba god of iron and war, does is different from what Obatala or Egbesu does. If you are dedicated to Ogun, you are likely to be hot-tempered.“
He said our leaders must humble themselves and go to God for counselling. According to him, President Goodluck Jonathan should call ministers of God and seek their advice, noting: “Just as Obasanjo gathered different idols in 1977 in Nigeria and glorified them, Christians too, with the support of the President, must gather, raise a standard and cleanse the land of all ties and association with idols.”
Was it not at FESTAC 77 that Professor Chike Onwuanchi presented his paper ‘African Identity and Ideology’ as the panacea for Africa’s ills? Have we ever used this application?
The cause of Nigerian woes are the Christian and Muslim leaders that we have. They spend billions of Naira on subsidising the Hajj, Piligimage to Rome and Jerusalem. Building National churches and mosques. All those billions spent on imported religions is more than the minuscule spent on FESTAC 77.
O KA FOR The Spirit is broken should shut up and continue to live on tithes and offerings.Image
